In December 2019 a local charity closed down their dementia day care. knowing this was a vital service to those who used it. we decided to continue it.
in Just 3 weeks we found another premises and made it our own, it was a home from home, a place of peace and love.
we had so much fun there and we loved every second of every day.
Then came covid 19 and we had to close.
during lockdown our beautiful centre was taken away from us once again due to funding issues.
so again we had to find another place suitable for our needs.
with covid it was so difficult to find somewhere as nothing was open and it took over 5 weeks until we finally got a reply from the bridge community centre who have kindly given us a chance and a room for a few months to help us grow back up again and find our very own place, our own building we can call our own.
we have been through so much in only a short time but it has made us stronger & more determined to grow and continue helping people who really do need it, despite the lack of help or funding.
here’s to our future we can’t wait to see where it takes us
